Project Notes: Roofing Standards recently completed installing 9,000 square feet of 36 mil Fibertite (KEE) roof membrane, over the newly built Starbucks Costa Mesa in Orange County, CA. Fibertite is the ideal roof membrane for restaurants and other uniquely challenging roof environments that require a roof system be flexible and protective even under the most challenging of conditions. FiberTite membranes are able to handle the many roof penetrations, equipment, exposure to oil and grease, ponding water, and fatty acids that are typical of restaurant roofs. Roofing Standards highly recommends Fibertite roofing systems for any low-pitch roofing, but over restaurant or food processing facilities you would be hard pressed to find a better performing roof system.
